- The 7th and 8th graders will focus on developing positive running techniques, building relationships with their peers and coaches and mostly just having a good time while developing a passion for running!
- We will practice Monday through Friday at the high school from 4pm-5:15pm.
- We will race approximately once per week. Races are generally 1.5 miles in length. If a 7th or 8th grader has potential and is looking to race up at the 5k level, it is an option we can look at when the timing is right.
-
9th - 12th graders practice Monday through Friday from 3:45-5:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30-10:00am.
-
All 9th-12th graders race at the 5k level on either JV or Varsity.
-
We usually race 1 time per week with the exception of a few weeks where we have 2 races.
-
Cross country running consists of, easy social runs, interval based runs, hill workouts, track workouts, strength training, core work, relays and numerous games!
