Picture make-up days have been rescheduled. The new picture make-up days are from 8:00am until 2:35pm on the following days : Tuesday, September 29 Thursday, October 1 Pictures will take place in the Blue Forum during the school day. Hybrid A students will be called down by last name during school on Tuesday Hybrid B students will be called down by last name during school on Thursday Online Academy (OLA) students can come on whichever day works best for them We are NOT having picture make-up days on September 22 and 24 as previously communicated. We apologize for any confusion this has caused. Since students will begin Hybrid learning the week September 28, it made more sense to reschedule picture days when students were in the building. This is only for students who did not have their picture taken at back to school days. All students in grades 9-11 need to have their picture take for their school ID. Optional picture packets are available for purchase and order forms will be... Continue reading Picture Make-up Days are September 29 and October 1
Students and families: Distance learning has been a significant undertaking for teachers, students, and families. The impact on learning is hard to measure; assigning grades has been difficult as well. Eastern Carver County Schools is committed to ensuring that students are not harmed by grading procedures during distance learning. Teachers have been asked to assign grades of A – D that best reflect their measurement of student learning during this period. Students who have not been able to show learning at a minimum level will receive an NG (or No Grade) instead of an F. These grades are now visible through Parent Portal and Student Portal on the report card. To view your grades, follow the steps at this link. Students and families have the option of accepting letter grades (A – D) that have been assigned to you, or you may change any letter grade to a P (or Pass). The P indicates that a student has met the minimum expectations for the course. Any class receiving a P... Continue reading CHS Grades Now Posted on Portal

This is a difficult time for everyone, but it’s also a time of increased economic insecurity. If there has been a change in your family’s income, there are resources available to help support you. COVID19 has changed our method of gathering supplies for families. Food drives and collections will stop until further notice in an effort to stop the spread of the virus, BUT we still need food for families who are in greater need now than ever! We are using our current food shelf supply, but those items won’t last long. To fill in the gaps we are purchasing food through Shipt/Target, and delivering it to families in need. If you would like to help, please consider donating to the Care Team via the District 112 Foundation at: https://district112foundation.org/blog/donate/ Be sure to specify “CHS Care Team” in the comment box. Thank you so much! We will get through this together, as one Hawk... Continue reading CHS Care team is still providing food/supplies to families in need – Would you like to help?
