Eastern Carver County School Board Approves November Referendum Three questions on the ballot at the November 5 election At their Monday, June 24 meeting, the Eastern Carver County School Board unanimously approved putting a referendum before voters with a three-question ballot on November 5, 2019.  The three questions address enrollment growth and funding needs necessary to provide the educational experience each student needs and deserves. Question 1: An operating levy increase to help bridge our budget gap, continue the strong academic preparation of our students, prevent cuts to programs and services, maintain class sizes and manage growing enrollment. Question 2: A bond request to build a new elementary school on district-owned land in Chaska, address deferred maintenance needs across the district and build a larger bus garage on a new site. Question 2 can pass only if Question 1 is approved. The Chaska Track & Field program qualified all MSHSL Class AA entries into the Finals on Saturday, June 8th (Hamline University). The Hawks didn’t disappoint on Saturday, with some outstanding finishes earning medals in 4 events! Online Registration for 19-20 Chaska Hawks Athletics

Our Chaska Hawks online registration system for athletics will be accepting registrations for the 2019-2020 school year beginning Monday, July 8, 2019.  Student-athletes can register at www.chaskahawksregistration.com A reminder that all student-athletes must be completely registered online and have an updated Sports Qualifying Physical on file (2 year expiration) with Chaska Athletics Office prior to any participation.  Fall Athletics will officially begin on Monday, August 12th, make sure you are registered in you are interested in participating. Also, students who register early for winter and/or spring athletics can bring their student ID to the athletics office, once school starts, to get a sticker that will allow free admission to all home Chaska Hawks regular season athletics competitions.
